Natural Hemroids Treatment

We are going to discuss a bit about how we can prevent and cure hemroids by sharing some information on natural hemroids treatment.
Hemorrhoids are small blood tumors that are formed in the final part of the rectum due to excessive dilation of the deepest veins of this area. They usually show as small bumps on the anal opening margins which sometimes bleed or sting. According to statistics, between 40 and 60% of people over 40 years suffer from this disorder.
Although there are basically two factors that predispose the development of hemorrhoids: sitting or standing for long hours and genetic inheritance, there are many others that have a significant role in the disorder’s severity.
One of the most important factors is the increased intra-abdominal pressure. This is the case of pregnancy, obesity, continued use of tight clothing or situations in which there is an intense and continuous abdominal muscles contraction such as a prolonged physical effort and even, curiously, sneezing and persistent cough.
Finally, another factor is constipation which, in addition to increased abdominal pressure, irritates and weakens the supporting tissues of the hemorrhoidal veins.
Attention to diet and constipation
Constipation is not only one of the most frequent hemorrhoids antecedents, but also it is one of the causes that may aggravate them. When constipation stools are harder and intensely rub the anal canal surface, it gets irritated, inflamed and weakened. Thus, in order to prevent or mitigate this problem, you must regulate your intestinal transit by adding more fiber to your diet, and above all, lots of water to keep the stool soft, about 2-2.5 liters per day. The best fiber for these cases is the soluble fiber such as that found in oats or apple pectin that causes softer stools. The infusion of mallow, a rich mucilaginous fiber plant with mild laxative effect, also gives good results that facilitate defecation without irritation.
Furthermore, in general, one has to avoid spicy and hot dishes, as they increase the inconvenience of evacuations and stress upon on the irritating effect symptoms. For the same reason it is advisable the moderate use of salt and to avoid salty foods, cocoa, chocolate, coffee and alcohol.
Sitz baths.
They are one of the easiest and most effective hemroids treatment remedies though, to be successful, one must be consistent and make them at least twice a day.
You prepare it by filling with warm water a bidet (or any other container where you can sit) and add 6 drops of juniper essential oil. Keep then the painful area inside the water for 10 minutes.
Another hemroids treatment that involves a sitz bath and that is good, especially when the area is very sore, is the one made with oak bark. Pour cold water on two or three tablespoons of the plant, bringing it to a boiling point for five minutes and then filter it. Mix the infusion with the bidet’s warm water. You sit here for 10 minutes once every two days.
